- Would it work on my skin type? Will it dry my skin and make it itch or flake?
- Does it work for cystic acne?
- Will multi-step routine fit into my busy schedule?
- Are there any side-effects? Is it safe for pregnancy or nursing child?
- Is the regimen difficult? Are there multiple steps?
- Will it handle my serious breakout? Is it foul smelling?
- Will the product potency/purity be the same from the first application to the last in a given package or will it lose its strength/purity once the package is opened?
- Is it convenient to carry, travel, spill-proof?
Each situation is unique. Acne is caused by several factors and there is no one-time cure for acne. As long as skin conditions favor growth of Acne causing bacteria, acne will persist.

When I was younger, I didn’t really have much acne. I would get an occasional pimple here and there, but for the most part my skin was pretty clear. Now that I’m older, I feel like the added stress of adulthood has caused me to break out a little more frequently. I was glad when I was given the opportunity to try out NiaPads, a facial cleansing wipe that is designed to safely reduce acne flair ups. It’s a small dry wipe that comes in a re-sealable pouch. They were a tad smaller than I thought they would be, but they definitely got the job done.
Don’t mind my prune-y hands, haha I just got out of the shower. 🙂
Other products I’ve tried would leave my face feeling very dry, even after using moisturizer. They also had a lingering chemical smell that wasn’t very appealing. NiaPads smell amazing! After using one and washing your face, your face instantly feels refreshed. I ran one of the pads under warm warm water and began gently scrubbing my face with it, focusing on the areas where I had more red spots and acne flair ups. I used it on my entire face, then let it sit for about 20-30 seconds (I brushed my teeth during this time – multitasking like a boss!). If you have a stubborn pimple, you can cut a piece off, soak with water, and let it dry on your face. It helps get rid of the pimple faster than just scrubbing the area with the wipe alone. It was very easy to wipe away with water, and I felt so refreshed afterwards. I applied my moisturizer and my face didn’t feel dry like with the other products. The acne I had started disappearing slowly, but to be honest I didn’t use the wipes habitually and I started breaking out close to the areas that were already disappearing. Along with NiaPads, I have been trying out other products for my face, so I cannot say that my new breakouts were due to Niapads, because they can be from the other products. I have a few pads left so I will continue to use, and if I see improvement, I will order some more. I’m always on the lookout for new products that can be beneficial to myself and anyone else I know who might be experiencing the same issues.
